The RF709 Lava is a high-performance safety boot engineered for demanding work environments in industries such as construction, heavy engineering, oil and gas and utilities, where superior protection, comfort and a secure fit are paramount. This boot is crafted from durable, water-repellent full-grain leather for excellent resistance to water and dirt. Comprehensive protection is provided by Activ-Step® and include a fibreglass toecap, protecting toes from up to 200 joules of impact, a penetration resistant midsole, protecting from underfoot injury and an internal Impact Shield™ metatarsal guard, further protecting your feet from injury due to falling objects. Our IMPACTSHIELD™ internal digging plate gives extra underfoot protection for heavy workloads, allowing you to tackle your toughest jobs. The waterproof and breathable construction, using 60% recycled polyester for the lining, keeps feet dry and comfortable in all weather conditions. Additional underfoot comfort is provided by our shock-absorbing, anti-fatigue footbed offering all-day comfort. With increased durability in mind, the boot provides extra protection from scrapes & abrasion with the FORCE10® TPU scuff-resistant toe cap, keeping these boots looking sharper for longer. A key differentiator and significant advantage is the BOA® Fit System, which allows for quick, effortless, and precise adjustment for a secure and personalised fit. The FORCE10® dual density PU/nitrile rubber outsole provides exceptional grip, heat resistance up to 300°C and resistance to oils.
